If one wish to get Birth certificate for their new born they have to approach nearest Muncipal corporation office where Birth and death will be registred.
If your baby is born in hospital the respective hospital will send details to concerned area Munipal office in case of Mahanagara palike it will be BBMP office .
0 to 6 years baby for getting Birth certificate and name inclusion there is no proof required.
If it is between 7 to 15 years School certificate which will help to add name , name of the parents and date of birth.
Above 15 years SSLC marks card / school transfer certificate or any study certificate / Election ID / Ration card.
