In recent times, many individuals who apply for a Director Identification Number (DIN) are receiving VPP (Value Payable Post) parcels titled:
“Director Identification Number (DIN) Information Kit”
These parcels are being sent by private entities (such as Dibya Publication – Regus Business Center, Gurgaon) and typically contain publicly available MCA information, circulars, and general DIN-related content.
⚠️ However, these kits are overpriced (around ₹950 or more) and do not offer any real value or official documentation.
❗ Important Facts You Must Know
❌ The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) does NOT send any DIN kit via courier or VPP
❌ DIN is issued entirely online through the MCA portal
❌ There is no mandatory physical kit or booklet required after DIN allotment
❌ These parcels are not government-authorized
🚫 What Should You Do?
✔️ Do NOT accept such VPP parcels
✔️ Reject delivery immediately
✔️ Inform others (especially new entrepreneurs & directors)
✔️ Stay alert against such misleading practices
⚖️ Legal & Public Concern
This practice raises serious concerns of misleading representation and unfair trade practices, where publicly available information is repackaged and sold under the impression of being official.
Authorities should take strict action against such entities misusing MCA-related terminology to collect money from unsuspecting individuals.
📢 Public Advisory
